Barolo is appreciated for the culture, tradition and hard work that it embodies.
Made with grapes grown in soil rich in organic substances, which are not harvested until the first autumn fog (nebbia) in mid to late October. The wine is fermented in Slavonian barrels for 18 months followed by 12 months in the bottle, as required by the government for DOCG status.
The wine becomes unalterable over time, gaining an intense extraordinarily complex bouquet of rose, tobacco, truffle and spice. Deep garnet red in colour, complex and intense with deep floral lavender and sour cherry aromas.
Serve at room temperature and pair with rich, slow cooked meat dishes, wild game or matured and spicy cheeses, or the perfect match for truffles.
